REGISTRATION
Entries open April 15th, 2024 and close June 21st, 2024.
INCLUDED IN PLAYER ENTRY FEE
Greens fees, commemorative tee prize, lunch on Friday, prize fund and trophy for each flight winner.
TRANSPORTATION
Players may walk or ride at their own discretion. Cart fees for the tournament are not included in the entry fee.
CADDIES & SPECTATORS
Caddies and Spectators are expressly prohibited and are not allowed to be on the golf course at any time.
PRACTICE FACILITIES
The driving range is available to all competitors for the duration of the Championship. A complimentary "warm up" bucket will be provided each day of the competition. Additional range balls may be purchased in the pro shop.
DRESS CODE
Appropriate golf attire is required which includes collared shirts with sleeves, Bermuda length shorts, or slacks. Shoes with metal or traditionally-designed spikes are prohibited.
CONDITIONS OF COMPETITION
The Championship will be conducted under the USGA Rules of Golf.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Contestants must observe proper golf etiquette at all times. Any abuse or disrespect of fellow competitors, officials, employees of Brookside Golf Club, or other persons conducting the event can be grounds for disqualification. Such abuse may be verbal or physical or threat thereof and includes, but is not limited to: the use of obscene language, physical damage to property or equipment.
WITHDRAWAL & NO SHOW POLICY
If you find you cannot compete in the Championship, you must officially withdraw from the event by sending an email to Registration & Website Operations contact, Doug Philbin at dphilbin626@charter.net. Any player withdrawing prior to June 21st at 5:00 PM will receive a full refund less a $25 administrative fee. Any withdrawals after June 21st at 5:00pm will not be entitled to receive a refund.
PRIZES
In keeping with USGA rules regarding the definition of amateurs, cash prizes will not be issued to players that earn awards. Instead, prize vouchers or scrip will be provided with a retail market value not to exceed the maximum allowable, as specified in Rule 3-2a of the Rules of Amateur Status.
